Designed by the world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid, DDP is the world’s largest three-dimensional freeform building, distinguished by its flowing curves and 45,133 uniquely shaped exterior panels. DDP Museum is Korea’s only public design museum and a Type I public art museum officially registered by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. The Seoul Design Award is an international award program dedicated to discovering design projects that address social, environmental, and urban challenges. In 2025, the award received 941 submissions from 74 countries, demonstrating its growing international significance. Design Miami.In Situ | Seoul was presented at DDP by Design Miami, one of the world’s leading design platforms. The exhibition highlighted the creativity and contemporary spirit of Korean design while bringing together works by international galleries and independent designers within DDP’s distinctive urban setting.
Held at the Igansumun Exhibition Hall in 2025, the exhibition featured more than 170 works by galleries and independent designers from Korea and abroad. It offered new perspectives on Korean craft and contemporary design within the global design discourse and demonstrated DDP’s role as a hub connecting Korean design with the international stage through collaboration with leading global platforms.
